Went for Christmas meal. Main course was gorgeous (oxtail), dessert not so. Supposed to be bread and butter pudding but I think someone might have confused it with bread pudding, as the texture was too dense and not sweet like b and b pudding is supposed to be. But the pub is beautiful, rustically furnished with live music on the night I was there and the staff were lovely.

Absolutely amazing find. If you are staying in Crickhowell & want a wonderful different meal, please try this Jamaican/Welsh combination. We loved. Plus for my doggy friends, they are most welcome. We will definitely be back when we are in the area. We highly recommend 🌟🌟

Really lovely country pub. Very welcoming with a decent selection of beers.
The food is very good, with an unusual Jamaican twist to the menu. Definitely worth a visit.

Really good food, very nice local pub. Love the jamwelsh menu, service is excellent. Good choice of ales. We try and go every time we are in the area. Live music in the evening every now and then too!

Turned up late for Sunday service with 1 coeliac in tow .. they accommodated us admirably. The chef came out to discuss options and the food was delicious.
The service was great. The atmosphere was lovely and the pub was full of all ages.. and dogs! There was a live band playing (not loud enough to stop conversation) and we’d go back in a heartbeat.
